Coming Home

On January 26th we got to come home from the hospital.  Fred had to take a test that day so it was nice that my  mom was here to help get us home.  Blaiden is doing great and we are all excited to see how our lives will change with the new addition.  Kiara was a little confused by what was going on but we are hoping they will become best friends.

Introducing Blaiden Carter Korpi

On Tuesday January 24th we were very surprised because Blaiden decided to come early.  Labor started at 12:30 AM and at 2:11 PM he made his way into the world.  He weighed 8lbs 3oz and was 20 1/2 in long.

G-ma (Jessi's Mom) flew out that morning and got to see her new grandson.

He had a ton of hair.  Fred and I both have blonde hair so we are not sure where his dark locks came from.

Sometimes when I am just relaxing on the couch Kiara comes and just rests her head looking at my belly.  Fred thinks this is so sweet and he loves this picture.  We are hoping that this means that she will be protective when we bring our little man home.

We are now ready!

We did the last of the shopping this weekend and now we are ready to bring the baby home.  His room is all ready to go, even though he will not be sleeping in there for a while.  We have a bassinet that we got this summer that we will put downstairs for his naps and another bassinet that Fred's mom made is in our bedroom where he will sleep at night.  We are getting so excited.  Here are a few pictures of the finished nursery.
