Fred ended up with 4 tickets to the Bronco's vs Brown's game. Blaiden had been looking forward for his first football game for weeks! It was a cold and rainy morning and it even snowed for a few minutes early that morning and so I was very worried about taking the kids to the game. The entire way up there I just knew we would barely make it to half time before I made Fred leave. As we were walking into the game I was worried about making it past the first quarter the wind was so cold.
Side story, Adilene and I couldn't even get in right away because I had brought a diaper bag and didn't know the rule of the clear plastic bag. We had to go and check it at some random tent and it was a mess!
Once Adilene and I finally got to our seats I was very surprised. The sun had come out and the wind wasn't bad. We even took most of our coats off. Fred and Blaiden were already having a great time, we had an extra ticket so we brought our friend Adam along. Our seats were great and Blaiden was have so much fun with all the people around. During the game there was a lot of getting up and letting the kids go run around, we bought way to much concession food, but I think everyone had a great day.
That is until the end. The broncos started losing, Blaiden was ready to go, and our coats had been spilled on. I decided to take Blaiden to go and get our bag and then we would head to the car assuming that game would be over and we all would be there about the same time. The game went into overtime and so Blaiden and I had to wait in the car for a while. Fred, Adilene, and Adam ended up leaving the game early also but I think that was because Fred was upset thinking the Bronco's were going to lose. It was a crazy ending to the game and they actually ended up winning but it all worked out because we made it out of downtown before all the traffic.
I wasn't really looking forward to this game but in the end I think everyone had a great time! I feel like I also have to justify why I am in Bronco clothing. The Cowboys were on a bye week and I have Sanders on my fantasy team so to make Fred happy I put on his jersey. Below are some pictures that Blaiden was very proud of taking all by himself.

Fire Station
Another playgroup activity yet again. This time we went to the fire station. Blaiden was excited to go and get on a big truck is what he kept saying. Our day started off by listening to a fireman talk about his gear, fire safety, and some of the equipment he uses. All of the kids sat in the middle of the floor and to my surprise Adilene sat down there too! She was having so much fun and she really didn't even look around for me, it was so great to see her be independent. Blaiden was the big helper and he was the one that got hooked up to the heart rate monitor and also demonstrated "stop, drop, and roll."
Next we got to go look at all the trucks. I could hardly keep track of both of the kids they were running around so much. They had a blast. When it was time to outside the group was gathering together and I couldn't find Blaiden. Just then I hear the horn in the ambulance. Lets just say Blaiden was having a good time!
Last we got to go outside and use the fire hose! Blaiden was first in line of coarse and had a great time. He even started to spray the water a little more then the fireman wanted! I took Adilene up there for a turn but she didn't want to participate in this activity, Blaiden was there to help. all she wanted to do was run into the water that was spraying out!

Kitchen update
Way back in April I wrote a post about how we have taken the wall down that separated the living area and kitchen area. It has taken some time but now I am ready for another update on our reno progress. We patched the drywall, painted everything, decorated, painted the cabinets, added hardware, and are half way done texturing the ceiling. We are taking our time but it is slowly getting done. I am so happy with the way everything has turned out and can not wait until we can finally say we are done!

Garth Concert
Back in May Fred went to a Garth Brooks concert in Pennsylvania because he thought that it would be the closest concert to us. Casey came out and they had a great time. A few short months later it was announced that there would be a concert in Cleveland and Fred went again. This time he went with a big group of people from the hospital and his friends from Kansas City came out too. I was going to go but I didn't want to leave the kids over night and the concert didn't start until 11pm so I stayed home with them. I think everyone had a great time and Fred said this concert was better then the one in May. It was probably because his seats for this concert were better.

Marvel Live
Fred and I were hanging out watching TV on a Friday night and we saw an ad for a Marvel Live event in Cleveland for the following day. We looked it up and were so excited to find out that there were still tickets available. When Blaiden woke up the next day and we told him what we were doing he was beyond excited.
This was my first time to a show like this and so I didn't really know what to expect. Blaiden dressed up as Spider-man with his shirt and mask, I had a Spider-man shirt, Fred had a Captain America shirt, and Adilene had a Hulk shirt. All the other kids were all dressed up and Blaiden was in aww of everything. When the show started the kids sat and watched for most of the time and it was very entertaining. There were a few new characters that Blaiden hadn't hear of but he was all about it. We all had a great time! Instead of buying something over priced at the event we told Blaiden he could get a Captain America mask and shield that he had found at the store the week before. His collection of costumes is growing!

Trip to the Apple Orchard
In the beginning of October (It's exciting I am now writing about October!) we went to an apple orchard with our playgroup. We had a great time walking around learning about all the apple trees, eating apples, drinking cider, and taking a bus ride around the property. I think Blaiden ran about 5 miles that day because with all that land the kids just chased each other and had the best time. Adilene loved walking around, when it is our normal group she feels a little more comfortable and will stray away from me a bit. I love to see that her confidence is growing even though if someone tries to talk to her she still cries. We didn't get to pick any apples because this summers weather was so bad nothing really grew but the few apples we got to taste were wonderful.
